Getting 2009 off to a flying start

I recently attended a Sunderland Business Network event where Tania La Marinel of TMP Coaching presetned an excellent session on setting goals and target for yourself personally and also on a buisness level.  She looked at how important targets are and how they can help you achieve great things for yourself and your business.

It looked back at 2008 and made you ask yourself what you had acheived throughout that year.  It wasn't until i sat down and thought about it that i realised quite what a succesful year that it had been:

  • I took on a new member of staff
  • I started a new company called, Red Sky Bookkeeping Ltd, due to demand of our bookeeping services, so expanded my business.
  • I moved offices at the Business & Innovatin Centre in Sunderland
  • I passed all my Certified Bookkeeping Exams and gained membership and a practicing certificate from the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers.
  • I got married!
  • and I bought the motor home that i'd been wishing for.

All in all a pretty good year, eh?!

So what's in store for 2009 then?

  • Well we're already expanding Red Sky's client base
  • Looking at new range of courses to offer through AAT
  • looking at more funded courses in Sage Software through the RSSF funding from Business Link
  • and a new project to help provide business advisory services in the Sunderland area.

I'll keep you posted! But if you'd like any more information then please contact us.
